Meet Richard & Yvette
About us
We are Richard and Yvette Bot-Vleerlaag and live in the province of Valais in Switzerland.
We lived in the Netherlands until 2001 and then decided to emigrate because of health benefits.
Through long experiences with our health and staying fit with our sport of athletics, we became interested in therapies that reduce or eliminate human body pain and provide more relaxation.
And so we started training in classical massage in 2020 and then more training followed. With this combination of the experiences and the trainings we took, we can help and guide people in the best possible way to reactivate their self-healing capacity and address their complaints and increase their quality of life.
Richard
His motivation, interest and open mind took him from ceiling sprayer in construction to the Royal Military Police, within which he served in various positions until 2003. Together with his wife Yvette, he lived in Switzerland for over 20 years, where he worked in biotechnology until mid-2024.
The many different workplaces were an enrichment in his life. This experience, along with his and Yvette's personal health challenges, allowed them to fulfill their wish after several courses: starting their own practice.
In his spare time he practices athletics, is an athletic trainer and specializes in ball hurling and the throwing pentathlon. In summer he likes to hike and bike and in winter he does cross-country skiing and enjoys nature and the mountain world.
Yvette
In the Netherlands, Yvette worked as a medical secretary and X-ray laboratory technician. Since 2001, she has been working in Switzerland. Her personal health journey runs like a thread through her life. This experience and the miraculous recovery from 34 years of sleep attacks awakened her interest in other treatment methods and helping others.
She combines her work in the X-ray Institute with working in the Oase HealthYR GmbH, which gives her great satisfaction.
In her free time she enjoys being active such as biking, hiking and cross-country skiing. Together with Richard, she practices athletics with specialization ball hurling and travels around the world to participate in the European and World Masters Championships, combining this with vacations. Sports provide relaxation and are good for body and mind.
Training:
Together they attended health massage training and specialized during and after their training in diaphragm treatment and Neural Reset Therapy®. Having experienced the effect of this highly effective technique themselves, the need to help others with it became even greater.
In 2024, they had the opportunity to attend the training course Quantum Alignment Technique in America. This still young technique that uses quantum physics is a great enrichment to support clients with their specific physical and mental situation even more.
Because of their passion for these methods and attention to the customer, they have been able to help many customers to their satisfaction.

Company name explanation
The name Oase HealthYR GmbH originated as follows:
Oasis: Helping the customer in a relaxed environment
HealthYR pronounced "healthier" and comes from the English word
Health (health) and the first letters of Yvette and Richard with the goal of giving the client a healthier body and better quality of life.
GmbH is German for BV
